Twitter and other government agencies.

The FBI's non-rebuttal - parroted by the same people who have done nothing but run cover for flagrant abuses of power by both the government and a giant corporation, and who are otherwise trying to claim the "real story" is about Elon Musk's narcissism - is partly the subject of Taibbi's release today.

But it's so much more than just the FBI.

And we still haven't gotten into the covid stuff yet. This just gets worse and worse, and it should be one of the biggest stories of all time.

So why isn't it?

Perhaps because it implicates not only the state, but the media.

I think one of the problems was the way the material was released.
It wasn't a well organized dispersal and thus when some of the issues identified were kinda "meh", it reduced the impact of the stuff that really mattered.

The relevant points are related to government meddling in the affairs of private companies to censor speech, and that should have been the focus all along. Nobody gives a crap about the political biases of a private company and arbitrarily uneven content moderation.
