(Ctulhu F'tagn)

updated tiles for the washed up beach, now with even more shiney (excluding particles)

HOWEVER ...

what troubles me more ... i was gonna whip up a small tactical hex map

and it's fine, i got my hexes and they scale and fit together very nice, thing is

... well ...

https://www.redblobgames.com/grids/hexagons/

turns out it's like half a uni-course ...

I mean ... i can place them and they scale and the offsets are right, and since it's phaser its pretty easy to interact, i wouldnt even need coords for simple movement as i can just move a sprite to offset_object1 to offset_object2 as they're all they're own object

thing is ... i got as far as the number is the square of the total hexes (in what i had in mind ...)

its like if you get 4 that means you're widest row is 2 , and if your widest row is 7 you have 49 in total (thats going from 1 to the max and back)

i got that far and then i thought, BUT HOW DO I GET THAT IN ONE LOOP ? i got one loop for my inv too, nothing to do with a separate one for the rows

something like

this.slotbutton[lus] =  this.add.rectangle(this.graphix.x+2+lus*65- (Math.floor((lus-1)/10))*650,this.graphix.y + 65 + (Math.floor((lus-1)/10))*65,64,64, 0x0000aa).setOrigin(0,0).setAlpha(0.5).setInteractive();

but i can't figure it out since for that hextype map i need negative coordinates ...

and so i googled and got to the abovementioned page ( = lulz)

and now i'm like yea ... indeed :

pathing

...
i mean its easy to see if obstacles are on the thing you click as a player but pathing for mobs ...

is it worth it ?

i don't know, i'll find out , and if it's not, i'll play it by myself HAH

... but that .. pathing thing might wait for general playability, i just need the whole mechanic and UI thing to work (and test on live) b/c inventory and charactersheet and encounter and stuff will be usable across all zones i suppose

think big they said

then they pay you ten cents, right :)

cos that's not how its done

HAH

good thing i like doing it, keeps me warmer at night than my last gf :)

(woops ... lets hope she dont read that ...)

well' atm i'm thinking if i use a square-type all i need is a flipswitch every odd row but i still wanna see if i cant get it into one run

just for the FFFFFFfff , euh ... heck of it
