They were cut with a knife, forced to listen to Soviet music and sing the national anthem of the Russian Federation 24 hours a day - a Briton who fought for Ukraine told about torture in Russian captivity
Aiden Aslin is one of the five Britons who were recently released from captivity by the militants of the so-called "DNR". In Donetsk, Aslin was sentenced to death, kept in a small cell, where Soviet songs were played around the clock and he was beaten for having a trident tattoo. During the torture, one of the guards stabbed him in the back with a knife. When asked what kind of death he wanted - a quick or a good one - the Briton answered that I never thought I would make it out alive, - said Aiden, who finally met his mother and Ukrainian bride. But the executioner said that it will not happen quickly.
According to Aslin, "he was treated worse than a dog", he had to sleep on a mat with lice, there was no toilet in the tiny cell, so they used empty bottles.
