We live a few miles from Rode Hall, near Kidsgrove in South Cheshire. This impressive country mansion was built in 1708 by Roger Wilbraham, where his descendants still live to this day.

After the Second World War many houses like Rode Hall were demolished due to the cost of repairing and running properties of this size. However the Wilbrahams decided to open the property and grounds to the public in 1980.
The next generation of Wilbrahams now live in the Hall.
