I would disagree about them being the same. That is the idea pushed by certain people who want to disrupt the system. This can lead to far right parties gaining power as has happened elsewhere.

Each party has their own issues. The Tory right wing has a big influence that is scary. Labour seem to be more about trying to appear 'safe' and appeal to the Brexit voters. I think they need to say more about undoing the damage the Tories have done.

There tend not to be simple answers to difficult problems, but that is hard to get over in a tweet. The level of political discourse has deteriorated.

I would argue that both are conservative parties albeit labour with a smaller C.
Labour has been clearing out anyone who may be seen as traditional labour people like Corbyn etc.
I agree that they are trying to appear safe and appeal to the centre voters which includes the vast majority that voted for Brexit by swallowing the lies they were fed.
But this approach has led to labour appearing to have lost the plot on who they are supposed to represent.
Labour was born from the unions and cooperative societies of this country and in forgetting their roots they have lost their way in my opinion.

The level of political discourse has deteriorated.

I agree. It's all about soundbites and 3 word slogans that the proles can repeat meme like.🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😂👍🏼
