Greetings all,
Today was my first day at work as an intern. Also, I decided make it a ulog post. check out @surpassinggoogle for details.
I am working at a branch of my country's National radio station here in my town (Buea).
It's actually an internship program that serves as the first semester to my final year at the university.
As a telecommunications engineer (to be), a radio station is a good place to practice.
Today I was basically working in the studio and it is very similar to the music production studio.
I was able to learn a lot from how signals are generated, transmitted and received to how to switch to different stations of the country and broadcast their programs. Also, I did learn how to control and take care of technical situations.
To top it all, I covered a program and my name went on air as the sound engineer. I wish my parents and friends were listening lol
Moreover, I entered into the broadcasting room and took some pictures. This is the room for Journalist and reporters. it is where some programs which are broadcasted take place.
It was fun throughout today!
