Hello my friends of Steemit in my post today I want to talk about a clean-up day I made with a group of friends on the beaches of my city Lecheria this weekend and the importance of taking care of our coasts.
The beaches offer a wide variety of recreational opportunities, we can spend a family day or with friends, surf, swim, fish, walk, read, relax, play, sunbathing, among other activities and not only provide these opportunities Recreation also provide habitats to a wide variety of plants and animals. Its importance also lies in fostering economic activities in nearby communities.
But the contamination of the coasts limits the use of all these possibilities, and the saddest consequence is that the homes of so many animals and plants are destroyed. Beach pollution also affects the health of people who bathe or live near them.
Many people spend a very pleasant day on the beach, enjoying this wonderful natural treasure and when they leave they leave bottles, garbage, cigarette butts, and a host of forgotten elements that pollute the beaches.
Our planet is BEAUTIFUL! and it is in our hands to keep it that way for our own survival. It is important that we become aware of the importance of saving our beaches, and clear the entire environment.
