Day by Day.
Feelings cough and surf inside.
Riding the waves as times goes by.
Surface when most unwanted.
Buried deep when most needed.
Life goes up and down.
Many only reading the downs.
Joy part and parcel of life,
It too has its place on the page.
The feelings of demise easily identified.
Joy wished for but when seen,
Pushed aside when wanting to ride,
Gloom becomes the utmost desire.
Dank, dark, it holds us in fold.
Winning the day once more.
Will we learn all is not lost,
If measures are taken to be forgotten.
The road to light is long and hard,
Fleeting moments, a tease of sorts.
Look to the sky to carry you on wings,
When the moon is sighted on this night.
Dreams carrying us safely,
Into another day of life.
Wisely upon arrival,
Choose your direction with the sun.
