Ulog: My curation journey

Starting a curation community may not always be easy.

It takes determination and a strong belief that we can make a difference.

I once was introduced to the story of the giving tree that always gave to a boy and even when the boy became an old man, it continued to be giving.

I know it is definitely hard to be a giving tree and we have people like @surpassinggoogle, @mahdiyari, @good-karma and many other great witnesses who are contributing their time and money to build steemit in many ways.

esteem

Most of us have been using esteem app frequently before other mobile app came out.

@good-karma had invested a lot of time in developing and bring a community to existence with his esteem discord.

With the amount of time needed, I don’t think everyone of us can be so committed into doing them.

@mahdiyari, who is the founder of steemauto, took the initiative to provide this free of charge. Beside handling the system problems, he has to handle the members’ queries as well.

First of all, it is a free service so we should be grateful that he has brought about such a great tool to the platform.

My Dust Upvote Initiative that support quality content creators for free depend greatly on the steemauto.

I believe many members out there are also using steemauto.

ulog and steemgigs

@surpassinggoogle provided platforms like ulogs and steemgigs.

These are really useful to support members in a variety of content creations.

Having two active communities like ulogs and steemgigs do take a lot of commitment as well.

@penguinpablo has created this steemnow site that I regularly use to find out about my steemit account conditions like steem power, Curation earned today and the previous day, latest upvotes and some other useful information.

Does he earn anything from doing this? It is really the giving heart that provides such a useful tool free of charge to us.

Dust Upvote Initiative

I have started the Dust Upvote Initiative for about one month and I am starting to gain some support from the community.

The journey is not easy especially with the change of steem price that affected the upvote value but I will continue this journey to support the selected content creators as long as I can.

It really does take time to review each content creators.

I am also starting a promotional series where regular promotion of different posts by the selected content creators will be collated and promoted together.
