Giants impacting lives
An iroko is a giant tree that sits in the sky above every other tree in the forest, it is a distinct and rarified kind of tree that is characterized by size, beauty, grace and height.
Our lives have been impacted by legends and giants and they have changed the face of technology, education, health care, security, entrepreneurship, agriculture and so on.
In the words of the legendary writer and poet prof Chinua Achebe in one of his books, no longer at ease,he said"you cannot plant greatness as you plant yams or maize.whoever planted an iroko tree-the greatest tree in the forest? You may collect all the iroko seeds in the world, open the soil and put them there, it will be in vain.The great tree chooses where to grow and we find it there, so it is with the greatness in men".

4.passionate
5.diligent and
6.studious.
These are the hallmarks of a distinguished personality. I must also add that giants persevere and weather storms, they don't cower at the slightest hurdle no wonder the bible says in Prov 24:10 "if thou faint in the days of adversity, thy strength is small"so be strong and be ready for the phase of life you are about to begin.
As you graduate today, always know that there are no short cuts to success, shun cultism and other vices, recognize the indelible fact that you can only get to the top through dint of hard work and success comes before work only in the dictionary.
