American breakfast美式早餐

People often ask what a typical American breakfast is. It's difficult to tell you, because everyone eats different things, and almost no one eats the same thing every day.
人们总是问我美式早餐是怎样的!这很难回答,因为人们吃着不同的早餐,而且也没有人每天会吃同样的食物。
However, the food in this picture is what I think of when I hear "American breakfast". I certainly wouldn't eat this every day, because there is too much fat and salt, but these are foods that most people would eat for breakfast on a weekend when they have time to sit down for a big breakfast with their family.

Sunny-side up eggs: Eggs that are fried on one side only. The egg yolk (yellow part of the egg) is still runny (liquid).

Bacon: A type of salted meat that is usually fried and eaten for breakfast. It is usually pork, but it can also be made from beef, turkey, soy, etc.
培根:一种咸腊肉,通常早餐时煎着吃。一般为猪肉,但有时也会是牛肉,火鸡,或黄豆等制成的。
Hash browns: Shredded potatoes that are fried in a pan until brown and crispy. You can eat them with ketchup and/or hot sauce.

Toast: Bread that has been heated until crispy in a machine called a "toaster". I prefer multigrain bread (bread made with many types of grains🌾 wheat, oat, barley, rye, etc.)
烤面包片:把面包放进“烤面包机/toaster”里加热至松脆。我通常更喜欢多麦面包(即由多种谷物制成,如小麦,燕麦,大麦,黑麦等。)
