Dear steemians, Let me admit that world is now a Global Village. We are inhabitants of different region. We differ in language, religion, race, culture and traditions.We all love our cultures & traditions but now as the world is changing we are moving toward unicultural world. Different culture & heritage mingled each other culture.
In olden days there was an era when the major source of culture change was invader and businessman. Invaders enforced their cultures and traditions to the conquer country. Thankfully the time has gone. Modern world believes in liberty. Now mostly cultural change is happening due to tourisim,sports events, media and social media.
Tourisim helps in learning the culture of different origion. Attractive customs attracts tourist and they mostly adopt them when go to their homeland. Similar way tourists also create impact on the local with their language and traditions. There was a time in our region when bachelor party and bridal shower was not so common. But now people love to celebrate their big days in this way. Personally I am not in favor of these celebrations. but it doesn't matter if majority of people adopt them in their daily matter.
What is your point of view?
Social media created a biggest impact on cultural change. It's the fastest and easiest way to promote your culture around the world. I am pleased to see that many wonderful steemians are the real ambassador of their countries and promoting their homeland cultures and traditions @czechglobalhosts is on the top of the list who is promoting Czech Republic cutlre, traditions and tourisim. I also got some inspiration from Tomas aka @czechglobalhosts and promoted free places of my homeland. It's a nice way to sketch the true picture of your country. Isn't it?
Above pictures in my posts seems to be the places of different location. One bleongs to Egypt and the Eiffel tower pics belongs to France. Amazingly I visited these places in one day.
Am I kidding? Not at all
It's not possible to visit these two places which are far from each other in a day but amazingly these places are hardly 5-6 km away from each other in my home land. Amazed! That is why I claimed that the world is a global village. Both the places are located at Bahria Town, Lahore.
