ULOG Entry #18: Almost A Century

The older you get, the more love is received. You get to appreciate the little things that used to be non-existing for you. Time is valued more than anything else.

5th of July, we celebrated one of my distant Grandmas natal day. She turned 88! She was a University Professor and was a prominent one back then.

Most of her children flew abroad and stayed there for couple of years now. At special events like this, they fail to show up because USA isn't just a bus ride.

On their absence, we're glad to be there for her. She deserves to be applauded for making it this far.

God bless your family, too!

The older you get, the more love is received.

I wish this is always true.

Happy birthday to Grandma! She is blessed to have you to look after her and celebrate her natal day. It is said when kids leave the nest and cannot easily make it back home. May you always be there for her.

Filipinos are known to be very family-oriented. I am generalizing though but I do respect families who are not that close to the adults. We have different perspectives in life. I was stating mine. I also do hope all grandkids are able to keep an eye on their grandparents. Have a good day!🙂
