Our school was formerly known as Philippine Maritime Institute and now it is named Philippine Marine Institute Colleges. It was established by an admiral and founder of the Kalayaan Group of Islands namely Atty. Thomas Cloma on the 18th day of September, 1948 so that's 70 years ago!

Basically, If your ambition is to be a seafarer you must learn how to swim or experience to be drowned on the pool by your instructor to increased your survival techniques and to learn fast about swimming. Well yah! That sounds terrible but thats the reality specially when you do not really know how to swim. So this is our swimming pool where we can apply our P.E 1 subjects like, Basic swimming and Advnce swimming. Its depth is about 12ft. These subjects are for juniors or in other words 1st year students.

Try to imagine we played here before at time of 1 pm to 3 pm. Imagine that the sun is enjoying watching our game too hahah we are like a dried fish on that time but luckily its just once a week 😊😊😊
