It’s five (5) weeks in The Google Africa Challenge Scholarship With Audacity and Andela Learning Community(#ALC).
It’s being challenging and fun. I missed my last week review due to my health challenge, and so I’m going to be doing a review for the past two weeks.
On the 30th may, messages was sent to all the student concerning a challenge called THE RAMADAN CHALLENGE.
The Ramadan challenge basically is aim at encouraging team work which is part of the core value of Andela Learning Community(ALC).
According to the email sent. Each participate is expected to complete a particular lesson (for my track, the first sixteen (16)) on or before 15th of June and you are expected to help your team mate do the same. And after completing the lesson, you can go ahead a fill the challenge form and submit.
One of the things included in the form was for me to indicate the numbers of team/group mate that helped me during the challenge and also those I offered assistance to.
One of the challenge I encountered during the Ramadan challenge was finding your team members;
Although teams members belong to the same group on slack channel, it is difficult to know your team members if they don’t indicate or add the name of their team to their username or on their profile.
I have only get to know three (3) of my team members out of about ten(10) of them.
So I suggested in my group for us to work as a group since the team members we all looking for are still in the group. The idea was welcomed and adopted; we helped each other as a group.
I have been helping my team mates and also non-team mates in completing their lesson.
The Ramadan challenge has thought me to be my brothers keeping;
This has helped me feel accomplished in this challenge, I feel happy impacting and helping others with the knowledge I have gained.
I’m currently working on my last lesson, and hoping to complete the lesson soon!
