Skin
We tend to use our skin and its different shades as an excuse to draw a line between each other. We discriminate, we judge and we scorn. We find it hard to look beyond what we see as ugly and love each other as we ought to. It is so easy for us to look at another living, breathing human being and judge them for how they were made but it is wrong. None of us have the place to say who is worth what and who isn't enough until the day we can create man and give life. We all have secrets we all have faults but our skin has nothing to do with the choices we make. Our mistakes don"t define us. It's not our skin that makes us who we are it's our hearts.
sexuality
We all have different choices of whom to love and who we love whether its male or female but that doesn't make us less of a human being. Everyone deserves to be treated equally even if we don't agree with the choice of who they love. We make it hard for persons who struggle, to be honest to themselves and about themselves. It's already hard enough to be different so don't you think we should provide a free environment for others to feel loved and safe about themselves?even if we don't agree with their differences we can still love each other.God is love and he loves us in spite of.... let's love just the same. It's not our sexuality that makes us who we are, it's our hearts.
Religion
My God may be different from your God but we all came into this world by the same process with a different ending. United we stand divided we fall. So if we are going to divide ourselves because of our religions we will fall, we probably are falling already. Why can't we stand united and uplift our neighbors? Why is it so hard to do just that? Is it that we find pleasure in being selfish? Or is it that we only know what we came to see? We all can change that, we all can take a stand and be better than yesterday every day. We are equally made, we all have to breathe to survive. Our religion doesn't make us who we are, its our hearts.
