Have you ever heard of Universal High Income (UHI)? It’s a pretty wild but fascinating idea basically, the government pays every adult just for existing. Yup, no strings attached. You’re alive? You get a check.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about it a lotespecially with AI and robots stepping in to do more and more jobs. If machines are out here running the show… what’s left for us?

That’s where UHI could come in. Imagine not having to stress about rent or food. You could actually breathe. You could follow your passions, start something new, or honestly? Just rest.

Now, I know some people worry UHI might make folks lazy. But I don’t think that’s it. Most of us aren’t lazy we are exhausted. We’re burnt out from working just to stay afloat. Given the chance, I think we’d create, build, connect, and give back in amazing ways.

UHI isn’t a perfect solution, and yeah, there’d be stuff to figure out. But the world’s changing fast. We need to start thinking about what kind of future we want, not just what we’re used to.
