I hope you are able to use the tool of writing to not only hunt down that nasty elf but also use it to show him the door! Those worry brows are colored with an amazing shade of blue.
The role of an observer is often a path of difficult times. We see the world in such a different light and ways we often think it’s not possible anyone can relate to it. I can easily get lost in my own world just sitting in a computer chair or just walking like I have a thousand times to the kitchen. As if sometimes time has slowed down to give me that extra moment to notice things.
I have often found strict corporate governess digesting. On one hand they act like they want you to contribute more than what your role is and to give them your ideas and thoughts. On the other they toss them into a shredder and tell you “things are just not working out.” They are right, things are not working out. I have seen the down fall of many companies because they like to act like a statue. As if everything before my time is already in stone and shall not be modified.
Thank you for entering into terry’s contest. It was a pleasure to read and I have often wondered if this place is real or if I’m just daydreaming right now.
