Planning to go in Boracay?
plan ahead :)
Here's a quick itinerary for you.
~ book a ticket months before the date of your trip. For example, we went there last December 27, 2017 but we booked a ticket couples of months ago like August. This is for you to get a ticket for smallest price. Or if you want you can wait for the seat sale some airlines company offers, you can get a round-trip ticket for as low as 2000php.
~pack your essentials. Pack your clothes for your OOTD, swim wear and personal care like shampoo,lotion, sunblock, soap but make it sure it will not exceed 100ml because it might be confiscated in airport. Or if you want you can buy there, but a little advice prices of products there in Boracay is higher compared to the convenience store near you. So if you're like me who has a limited budget keep my advice. :) Sometimes hotels have this things but its good you have extra :) also don't forget to bring towels and of course Camera and Cellphone!
~Book a hotel. There's a lot of hotels there that offers great services for small price. Also if you have limited budget you can get hotels that is walking distance from the beach, because hotels near seashore is a lot pricey compared to hotels not so far from it.
~how to get there
~From Naia Domestic Airport fly to Kalibo airport
~ride a bus the airlines offered to get you to Caticlan Jetty port. Pay the environmental fee 75 php ; terminal fee 100php ; boat fee 25php. After paying go inside the building and register. There will be a guide to help you to get to your service boat.
~ the boat will take you to Tambisaan port and there's a tricycle terminal there. The tricycles fee ranges from 100php - 150php. Tell the name of the hotel to the driver and he will get you there.
additional tips.
~ look for a budget friendly restaurant
~DON' T use ATM machine there if not needed , the charge for balance inquiry and withdrawal is 100php and up
~ there are guides there that offers budget friendly adventure (island hopping, helmet diving, scuba diving..etc)
