In india different state has their popular dance forms.....As you already seen in my post about Rajasthan and assam.Now I am going to share beautiful dance forms of Punjab.
Punjabi dances are an array of folk and religious dances of the Punjabi people indigenous to the Punjab region, straddling the border of India and Pakistan. The style of Punjabi dances ranges from very high energy to slow and reserved, and there are specific styles for men and women. Some of the dances are secular while others are presented in religious contexts.
The dances are typically performed at times of celebration, such as Harvest (Visakhi), Weddings, Melas (Festivals) like Lohri, Jashan-e-Baharan (Spring Festival) etc., at which everyone is encouraged to dance. Married Punjabi couples usually dance together. The husband dances in the style of male Punjabi dances, frequently with arms raised, and the wife dances in the style of female Punjabi dances.
Main Punjabi folk dance for men or for all is Bhangda or Bhangra and for females is Giddha or Giddhah.

Traditional Bhangra--
The 1950s saw the development of the free form traditional Bhangra in Punjab, India which was patronised by the Maharaja of Patiala who requested a staged performance of Bhangra in 1953.
Malwai Giddha (Punjabi: ਮਲਵਈ ਗਿੱਧਾ) is the folk dance of males of Malwa region of Punjab. This dance was originally performed by Babey (old men) and hence is also called Babeyan da Gidhha but the dance is now performed by younger men too. This includes teasing of other people in Boliaan (folk poetry). The dance originated in the Malwa are of the Punjab region and is associated with the districts of Muktsar, Bathinda, Faridkot, Sangrur, Ferozpur, Mansa and Patiala.
