go to the upvote exchange and start upvoting.
It's as easy as that. Upvote others and get up to 5x reward in upvotes on your posts. Soon you will start getting 5-10-20-50 and more upvotes on your posts. Depending on how much you upvote others.
This increases your visibility on STEEMIT and increases your chances of getting even more upvotes and a higher payout.
Never underestimate the power of visibility because it is one of the most important things in STEEMIT.
If you are concerned with safety I can asure you that your keys aren't kept on any server or browser and they never leave your computer. I have talked to the developer about this and he told me that safety is number 1 concern. He just wants to help minnows and create something special. A place where every user has an equal chance of getting upvoted and appreciated no matter if he is a whale or a minnow.

I am new to steemit and still in process of understanding SP and SBD..., will try this soon .. thanks for sharing.
SBD is liquid meaning you can use it whenever you want, SP is "locked" and makes your vote worth more and have a bigger impact on the platform. SP can be made liquid again and converted to STEEM in a process called power down which takes 13 weeks and pays you 1/13 of your SP as STEEM each week, untill all SP is converted to STEEM. You can also stop your power down whenever you want.

try adding better content. Another thing is that you shouldn't edit your posts after you post them because that may cause a bug in steemfollower. Happened to me before and I didnt get upvotes for few days. I usually get atleast 20-30 per day now. Also invest in more SP
