It's becoming clear to me that the US election this fall is about Nationalism vs Globalism. Globalists want a world where there are no individual countries or borders. They want one elite government that controls everything. A nationalist wants individual countries such as the United States and Great Britain and where their borders are secure. A nationalist wants fair trade agreements that help protect jobs of it's citizens. The British referendum to leave the European Union (Brexit) was a choice by the people to choose nationalism over globalism. The only problem is the British leaders who are globalists including the current Prime Minister may not let it happen even though the vote was the will of the people. This is not as much an article, but, an attempt on my part to start a conversation here on Steemit. There is so much more that I could write, but, I'm leaving it up to the extremely intelligent people on here to add to this conversation.
Let's not replace one tyranny with another. Collectivism for any reason is unethical.
Can't we have "no individual countries or borders" without "one elite government that controls everything"?
Borders are imaginary lines drawn on a map used by tyrants to control humanity.
I choose no rulers, instead. I choose #anarchism.
Anarchism ?
No Rules ?
Does that mean I can have that guys Ferrari who lives down the road.
There must be some rules to live by.
Anarchism doesn't mean "no rules" it means "no rulers".
There will always be rules. Rulers are not needed for rules either. You don't want to abide by the rules? You'll be an outlaw and not have the protection of the common law courts made up of volunteers of the communities. Good luck to you!
