Hello to everyone.
It has been 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 day since russo-ukrainian war begun. Russia has been internationally condemned as the aggressor and has been subject to strong economic sanctions.
However, I think it's necessary to compare russian international status with other nations that behave in similar way.
Turkey: in 1974 Turkey invaded and occupied the Northern part of Cyprus, expelling the greek population, more than 150.000 people, and replacing it with turkish immigrants.
55 churches have been converted into mosques and another 50 churches and monasteries have been converted into stables, stores, hostels, or museums, or have been demolished: the greek cultural heritage has been practically erased from North Cyprus. As a reuslt of the envasion, Varosha, the southern suburb of Famagusta, became a ghost town.
In 1983 the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was proclaimed but it's only recognised by Turkey. Even if North Cyprus is under embargo, Turkey was never subject to any kind of sanction apart from a temporary embargo on weapon sales.
Israel: since 1967 Israel occupied the Golan Heights, wich were unilaterally annexed in 1981, East Jerusalem and the west Bank.
The latter sitution is quite complex: it's officially under Palestinian Autorithy, but Israel keep sending new settlers there despite having agreed not to during Oslo 1993 peace process. Israeli settlements are not under palestinian jurisdiction despite being in the West Bank, de facto reducing Palestinian Authorithy function to the administration of a few unconnected territories, less than 40% of West Bank. No sanctions have been applied to Israel.
Saudi Arabia: in 2015 Saudi Arabia, with help from 8 nation from West Asia and North Africa and Acdemi (former Blackwater) mercenaries, invaded and occupied Yemen. The United States provided intelligence and logistical support. The occupation has been brutal: Saudi and their allies, which routinely bombs civilians, caused an humanitarian catastrophe. The disruption of distibution routes caused a severe famine. Hundreds of thousands died and 20 million people are on the brink of starvation.
Several outbreaks of cholera, measles and dengue fever ensued, killing thousands more. No sanctions have been applied to Saudi Arabia and its allies.
United Arab Emirates: since 2018, UAE has occupied Socotra Island, wich belongs to Yemen. No sanctions have been applied to UAE.
Indonesia: in 1962 Indonesia invaded and annected West Papua. Since then, 300.000 indigenous people have been killed, indigenous woman are routinely raped by indonesian armed forces.
Indonesian government flooded West Papua with immigrants from other parts of Indonesia through the Transmigrasi program: today indigenous people are a minority in their own land. No sanctions have been applied to Indonesia.
I could go on much longer, but you get the idea: if you are an USA ally you can wage war with impunity.
USA are, obvoiusly, leading by example, having waged war constantly during their existence. I will not got into details because it would take thounds of pages. I will just remind you about Second Gulf War, where USA had to forge false evindence of weapon of mass distruction in order to morally justify the invasion.
I need to point out that I have nothing against Ukraine and ukrainian people, but Russia is no demon, it is just a state doing what almost every state does. USA control world comunications, so they are able to impose their vision of world politics.

Very strange logic! Try to apply this logic to the criminal when your woman will be raped, your child is killed and etc! Just because somewhere the criminals are not convicted! "Funny" side of the story - when I was reading your post 3 rockets have been blown in about 10 km from my house. My friends called me - civil building ruined! Just now!!! War is always evil! Agression is always evil!
I agree. But way only war in Ukraine is condemned? The same principle must be applied to all wars. All or nothing. I got nothing against Ukraine, I got everything against USA: they justify their wars and condemn others conflict. I every war is wrong, then USA are far more guilty the rest of the world together.
You can dislike USA, that's fine. But you say

Is it ok if Russian troops come to your country next to kill your family and rape your female family members? Like you say, it's only doing what almost every state does, so it sounds like it's ok for you if they do it
It's not ok, obviously. I just wanted to point out that other states do the same and get away with that.
In that case, please don't endorse Russia's action by saying that they're just doing what everyone else does.
