5 GREAT THINGS: WHAT TO LOVE ABOUT AMERICA

in #usa6 years ago

America is under assault as at no other time—from fear mongers as well as from individuals who give a defense to psychological oppression. Islamic fundamentalists announce America the Great Satan. Europeans rail against American free enterprise and American culture. South American activists condemn the United States for "neocolonialism" and persecution.

1. AMERICA PROVIDES AN AMAZINGLY GOOD LIFE FOR THE ORDINARY GUY

Rich individuals live well all over the place. However, what recognizes America is that it gives an astonishingly exclusive requirement of living for the "normal man." We currently live in a nation where development specialists consistently pay $4 for a nonfat latte, where house keepers drive decent cars and where handymen take their families on an excursion to Europe.

2. AMERICA OFFERS MORE OPPORTUNITY AND SOCIAL MOBILITY THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY, INCLUDING THE COUNTRIES OF EUROPE

America is the main nation that has made a populace of "independent moguls." Only in America could Pierre Omidyar, whose guardians are Iranian and who experienced childhood in Paris, have begun an organization like eBay. Just in America could Vinod Khosla, the child of an Indian armed force officer, turn into a main financial speculator, the shaper of the innovation business, and an extremely rich person to boot. Honestly big shots are not common, but rather no nation has made a superior stepping stool than America for individuals to climb from humble conditions to succeed.

3. WORK AND TRADE ARE RESPECTABLE IN AMERICA

Generally most societies have scorned the vendor and the worker, viewing the previous as disgusting and degenerate and the last as debased and foul. A few societies, for example, that of old Greece and medieval Islam, even held that it is smarter to obtain things through loot than through exchange or contract work. Be that as it may, the American originators modified this ethical chain of importance.

4. AMERICA HAS ACHIEVED GREATER SOCIAL EQUALITY THAN ANY OTHER SOCIETY

Valid, there are huge disparities of salary and riches in America. In absolutely monetary terms, Europe is more libertarian. Be that as it may, Americans are socially more equivalent than some other individuals, and this is unaffected by monetary differences.

5. PEOPLE LIVE LONGER, FULLER LIVES IN AMERICA

In spite of the fact that dissenters rail against the American adaptation of innovative free enterprise at exchange gatherings around the globe, in all actuality, the American framework has given subjects numerous more long periods of life, and the way to live more strongly and effectively.

Thank you in advance!

Currently I'm living in Germany. It's quite boring and I'm thinking about moving somewhere else. Asian counries, such as Japan are options for me, but also the US seems nice. Great post showing the positive side of America. Maybe you could also cover the negative side on your blog :)
