I want to propose a new design for the logo of the open source App "Simple Gallery". This new logo was designed in the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 software.
This logo is simple but modern and updated, this will make the App look more attractive.

Benefits / Improvements
The design of the new logo is simple but looks much more updated and modern. Its design is inspired by the union of a box with the original logo, and represents the simplicity of the App and the ability it has to store and view our photos and videos.
Tools
The design was made with CorelDraw Graphics Suite X7 software, the tools were used; Color panel, Smart fill, shadow, Rectangle, ellipse and Polygon.

What do you mean by simplifying a design?
What I meant was application name is "Simple Gallery" you took their logo, add one more mountain, a film strip and two diamond shapes as a background. It was simple before now it's complicated. It was already implying a photograph image.
