I was able to reproduce the bug on my device.
I find this use case very trivial UX issue. You select a completely black icon and pair it with completely black background...
Yet you write "I expect to be able to see the lota crypto logo when i change the theme to dark." How??? How can you expect such thing? Do you expect to be able to to read black letter and black background?
Also... "I can't see the lota crypto when i change the theme to dark so i can't know what crypto it is." Sure you do, you added it to you home screen. Since there isn't another icon which is black, you kinda know that the one you can't see is the iota one.
