RE: Particle physics @ Utopian-io - Designing an LHC search strategy for unraveling new phenomena

It's mostly that your payouts appear to be enormous, and it's unclear where that SBD is going if not into your on-site wallet. I see no evidence of withdrawls in your wallet history either.

With MINOS behind me, the Ice Cube facility in Antarctica is next up on my bucket list. It's another neutrino detection facility but it detects ambient neutrinos coming from space rather than another facility. I have no idea how a civilian can get access, but I dearly wish to.

LeMouth is one of people most invested in this site. He's dedicating more time to steemSTEM and curation than should be humanly possible (and that basically for free). If you check (good) posts curated by steemSTEM, you'll see that they have a similar payout as LeMouth does.

That doesn't mean he gets a guaranteed upvote for everything, he too has to meet the quality standards - which he does.

I find it incredibly unfair to accuse LeMouth of bot usage, I know he doesn't use them. He deserves the payout he gets. Honestly, he deserves more. Without him, there are a bunch of people who wouldn't be on steem anymore, including me. And that's more than many of the people with even higher payouts have achieved.

I respect LeMouth's contributions as much as you do. I don't understand how you got any sort of accusatory or hostile tone from my post, that was absolutely not my intent. I also don't understand how you interpreted my post to mean that he does not deserve his payouts. That is not what I said and not what I believe. I was simply asking why the contents of his wallet don't reflect his apparent earnings, out of curiosity.

Then I apologize. To me, your comment sounded like you were trying to call him out on something - either bot use or some kind of scam. And I react a bit allergic to that when it comes to someone who puts so much time and energy in this project ^^

Okay, I understand. Apology accepted.

My earned SBD are mostly traded on the internal market for STEEM, and then powered up. The fraction that I have not powered up has been used otherwise (and you don't need to know why or how ;) ).

Concerning the amounts, note that I only write like 5-6 posts a month, which gives an upper bound on any wallet activity.

Oh I see! Thanks for clearing things up. Follower count really doesn't mean much, does it? I guess I'm just mentally stuck in the old days of Steemit.

Both follower counts and reputation marker do not mean anything :)
