It's not an Utopian Task Request. I searched open source project on GitHub and contacted the Project Owner by GitHub's issues then offered the Project Owner a logo for his project. I showed my idea, then the project owner tell me some problems and suggestions. After I did some revisions and showed the result, The Project Owner agree to use the logo on the project.

Details
TTVStreamerTool is a project that works on Windows Platform. This is an application aimed at Twitch streamer. On the main view you will be able to read the chat, see the people who are in the chat, the current number of viewers and notifications for follows, subscriptions, bans, timeouts and other stuff. There is also a local http host in there for OBS or Xsplit overlays. You can set up hotkeys to control these.
This logo design is trying to deliver idea about streaming and forum. The main idea is combining the chat shape to representing forum and play shape to representing player or streamer.
Rounded shape is dominant in this logo design. So, for the logotype, I chose rounded font likes Nunito to make it corresponding.
This project didn't have any brand identity color before. So, I offered new color identity then chose yellow and orange palletes in gradient style. In other color versions, I chose green and blue color, the generic color besides its black and white version.
Alternative Version
At the beginning, I proposed this logo idea for the project owner. Then the Project Owner tell me some problems and give me some suggestions. After I did some revisions, The Project Owner chose this one for promotional stuff and splash screen, then the revision one as an application icon.
Benefits / Improvements
- This logo help the Project Owner to improve the visual and identity of the project.
- This logo will help to make interest of people to use this application on their Windows PC.
- This logo is also simple, flat, and have the unique shape.
