Whether you are a native English speaker or not, it’s always helpful to use tools that correct and enhance your writing skills. We all want our posts to be free of common grammatical errors. Long sentences, dull or complicated words, adverbs and extensive use of passive voice also should be avoided. Steemit can be a bit tricky about post content, quality, and plagiarism. No one will persecute you if you are not a native English writer and make a few mistakes. In due time if you desire you will become a better writer, write clear and concise sentences ensuring that your sentences flow naturally and without mistakes. The tools that I'm presenting here, in addition to correct your spelling and grammar, will help you understand if you pay attention, more about this beautiful world of words.

Hemingway Editor
Hemingway Editor is a stand-alone word processor and proofing tool that helps users write in a simple and clear way. Hemingway Editor detects phrases that are difficult to read, complex words or phrases, the use of passive voice in a text as well as the presence of adverbs. The application uses color-coding to highlight common problems and errors, formatting features that allow writers to apply bold and italic font styles, add bookmarks and titles to text. It also offers the possibility to write directly in the application.
It is a stand-alone program that can be used online for free. There is also the option to download the desktop version of the application, which despite being paid offers free updates.
“No matter how smart you are, if you can’t communicate coherently it doesn’t really matter.” Jake Williams
Grammarly
Grammarly is an online text editor that offers a free browser extension for Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. This tool checks everything you type and helps you correct errors so you can write with confidence and ease. Grammarly algorithms help you correct errors on the fly, with just one click in most online editors like Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Steemit, etc. The free version allows you to manage your account settings and upload/download documents. Personally, I find this tool a precious aid and a powerful learning tool. You can add words to your personal dictionary and read a detailed explanation about why a specific word/pontuaction suggestion is given.

Grammarly algorithms also enable you to set up goals and generate document statistics:

Plagiarism Checker
https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/
The third tool is a free online plagiarism checker that scans the world wide web in search for duplicated content. You can paste up to 1000 words per search and run the checker. Red sentences in your results mean you are dealing with plagiarized text. Plagiarism Checker will give you the percentage of plagiarized text, and identify the original source of the content.
If your results turn up green, it means you are dealing with fresh original content.
Why use this tool if it was you who wrote all those words? Well sometimes intentionally or not it happens...
English language like any other language requires practice and years to master fluently. With the right tools, dedication and time, you will learn how to spell new words, perfect your English grammar skills, correct mistakes, while you save time, build credibility and your #Steemit #reputation!
Hope you find this post useful ツ
I've never been able to get into using grammar tools. I've used Copyscape for checking plagiarism. But I really like the extension that lets you check grammar in Steemit. A lot of people can use that.
That's true, the extension is very practical!
Thank you very much for introducing me to these useful tools !!!
Until now I've only being using google translator and google search when in doubt...
Hey, welcome :)
Whoaa.. this is great @arcanu😉 though I always use grammarly to check on the plagiarism of other posters but I am too afraid to check on my own posts😂 I'm too shy to find that numbers of misuse words and incorrect preposition.
But hemingway tools is really interesting and I should try it later. English is not my first language and I want to be better in english as one of many reasons to join Steemit after all.
Glad To find your post from @asapers, congratulations and Thank You😊
You have the full paid grammarly version? Cool! Hemmingway app it's good for learning, it gives me the notion of words that I use frequently and aren't necessary...but a clean text for hemmingway app it's to simplistic not aiming for less than score 7.
@asapers rules in many ways and definitely the best discord group I found until now :)
No @arcanu.. I use the free grammarly because I am not proffesional author, checking it just for occasional purposes and it worked greatly so far. Thank you for your information...

Very interesting article!
I use the plagiarism checker when looking for posts to curate - whether for asapers, pay-it-forward or the daily sneak.
I'm very interested in checking out the Hemingway tool and will be doing so.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your words :)
A few days ago, although I'm not a curator like you, I started using it for posts that I find interesting. That way I only vote for original content.
That's a very good thing. Oh, if you find plagiarized material, check in at Steemcleaners - they will normally give you a little reward.

@resteem.bot's 100% upvote that you bougth is worthless by the way: https://steemd.com/@resteem.bot
Hi @marcocasario, how are you? I already excused your little earlier invasion. When people use the @resteem.bot service it's not for the upvote, it's for the resteem. I appreciate your concern, but don't feel happy or like to have this type of situation in the comment section of one of my posts. Tnx
@arcanu
Yes, sorry for the angry spammer, they are always not happy if you flag them. Let him his little fun, he is history soon.
@resteem.bot
Please stop with this nonsense! If I knew this was going to happen I wouldn't use this service. I don't like to see this in my comment section and would appreciate if you all removed your comments.
@arcanu. Apologies again. My bot is just trying to contrast that thief & cheater. If you remove your comments I will delete mine (I can't otherwise).
PS. I also added you to the skipList.
As part of my apology I just resteemed you and upvoted for ~0.04$
Good post by the way, I used Grammarly a lot in the past :)
( @resteem.bot after powering up 3000 $ you think I'm history soon, well if you say so.. : )
( Please excuse my little invasion arcanu :) )
