One major way technology has affected human race is the eye defect many received from their interaction with screens. By screens i mean devices that displays ranging from television, computer, mobile phones and the likes. It will interest the populace that the light radiation that comes from the screen of our phones and laptops actually affects our vision.
In a bid to put the eyes defect issues on the low, phone developers created options like light sensor on phones, and night mode for apps.
Example of apps that came with night mode is:
Discord app
Uc browser,
Esteem app.
I have had the thought that it is only possible with apps, until i saw steemit introduced the night mode toggle.
I have had challenges operating with brightlights, or pages with white background because i want to protect my eyes. I would have wished to spend more times on wordpress.com, but i can not because the site is designed with a white background.
I tried installing a new theme that is dull coloured, but what i found only affect my blog view and not the back end or my profile, where i write the post.

Suggestion
I suggest that wordpress should introduce a day/night toggle option, which will change the background of the site like in steemit (screenshot above)
I suggest that the themes should not only affect the blog few, but it should affect the back end, (i.e, where one compose, read mode....)
Benefit
- It helps for those who are like me, who will like to spend more time composing, and reading, but want to protect our eyes from too bright lights at night.
- It beautifies the blog. Take for example the screenshots of apps i gave above(i.e, ucweb, esteem, steemit..) it makes the out look more beautiful.

All apps should add night mode, and the OS itself (windows/mac/iOS/android) should add support at the system level. It would really save my eyes!
