Project Details

ProGit Second Edition is an updated documentation book which you can find descriptions, instructions, and how-to's to each command for Pro Git. It also meticulously covers examples to each command and on how and where to properly use it. The book has ten chapters and three appendix sections. In each chapter it covers different major type of commands and in appendix sections it provides a brief description to each commands and a link to its deep details. This is a very helpful book that a Pro Git user should know and have it as a guide.

Below is a brief description of the book from the Google Store

Git is the version control system developed by Linus Torvalds for Linux kernel development. It took the open source world by storm since its inception in 2005, and is used by small development shops and giants like Google, Red Hat, and IBM, and of course many open source projects.

I have decided to help translating this project because I too wondered how to use this staff as a non-technical person and it got my interest onto why developers or programmers are using it. Other translators should do the same because this would greatly benefit our Filipino developers who lacks understanding of English language or they much preferred our native tongue .

Hi @marou27 no offense but I don't understand what are you trying to point out here. I created the first paragraph of my project details in my own words, I write the things I learned and understand about this project. The last paragraph of the project details section is based from the template, which you need to answer the two questions: "Why did you decide to help translate the project?" and "What would you say to others to help translate the project?".

So, I'm pretty much confuse what are you trying to point out. Also, I put a source on the paragraph that I copied from Google Books. I put that info to verify my first paragraph to prove that I'm not just making this up. For sure your not going to read this reply, please reply if you read this. Thanks!
