This is my Submission for the Logo Design Task Request for Steem Assistant by @jestemkioskiem. The design for the logo includes themes and concepts consistent with @jestemkioskiem's request. The logo design takes into account aspects of voice recognition and communication incorporating sound waves. It also takes into account its association with both Alexa and Steem.
Alexa is represented by the blue gradient ring that circles the logo. This is a popular visual queue that the device is known for.
Steem is represented by the Steemit logo which was taken and edited from the following site and is the trademark of Steemit Inc.
In my design, I took into account the requests made by @jestemkioskiem. I made a simple logo that will make people Associate it with Smart Speakers (Alexa Primarily) and represented the Steem Blockchain. It uses no designs or concepts from the image on @jestemkioskiem's post to avoid any licensing issues. It includes a version with the name of the Application - "Steem Assistant" as well as a standalone logo with no text and/or slogans. The design of the logo has a minamalist feel which is what was requested.
Benefits / Improvements
- Image can be resized and edited using the PSD file.
- Colors can be updated/Changed easily.
- Every part of the logo is designed using a different layer allowing for easy edits and adjustments.
- Various sizes included which can all be adjusted and resized
- Various designs, sizes, and formats of logo are included on the share drive
- All work is uploaded to share drive including templates used for this post

Not sure this was the best choice for the logo. The project is not affiliated to Steemit but to Steem (blockchain). You picked the logo of Steemit.
Thanks for the feedback @espoem. I initially did consider adding aspects of blockchain, but when resized to a smaller icon, it made the logo messy and I wanted to retain the theme of having a person speaking to represent voice recognition. The Steemit logo since it is in the shape of a person and is a representative of technology built on the blockchain is something that most people will recognize with. Below are some of the other 3 samples I originally came up with but opted to remove. I did add them to the share though to provide more options in case there is a use for them.

I don't mind the design, it's pretty good, but you seem to be confused when it comes to the difference between steem and steemit. Steemit just just one way to browse the steem blockchain, which my app has nothing to do with! Also, I'm not sure if their logo is not copyrighted. You should try with the steem logo instead.
