Details
I originally submitted a separate Task Request for help building the Steemit Philippines Homepage. In speaking with @amosbastian, he recommended I simplify the Task Request In order to organize the project and follow a step-by-step project plan until the whole of the project was complete. In my previous post I had listed a number of different Tasks I needed help completing, which can overwhelm and divert focus away from any one given task leading to an incomplete and often buggy finished product.
With that in mind, I have decided to break my project down into smaller tasks that will eventually lead to a completed product.
The overall goal of this project is to establish a resource that will help our community grow and serve as a place where all community members can go for information and support.
In this first Task Request, I am seeking help from coders and developers to help design and create the front end for the Steemit Philippines homepage. The existing domain https://www.steemitphilippines.com will be used and below is an example of the mockup I have created and is potentially what I would like the site to look like.

Above is a fresh new design and layout that is much different than the existing placeholder we have in place.
Components and How it should look and work
This is the first part of an even bigger project so work should be uploaded to the same repository and easy to edit. It will be connected to existing technologies and code, so use of javascript and html is recommended.
- The page should be clean and uncluttered
- Please use a style.css for all fonts and formats
- Page should be coded in html and javascript in order to allow for expandability, connectivity, and ease of use with existing code and technology from Steem
- Please try to come up with a design that is as close to the mockup as possible
- Navigation buttons and dropdowns should be at the top of the page in the header
- The front page illustration should be PH related and any picture used needs to be high res and clear
- An option for pictures to scroll would be nice, but is not necessary
- below the front page illustration should be placeholders for future post thumbnails..
Roadmap
- Build base Homepage and upload HTML/CSS files (beta)
- Integrate Homepage to Condenser (files have already uploaded to the Repo
- Integrate SteemConnect for a safe and Secure sign in and verification
- Build voter app to follow, curate, and upvote good quality content posted through the website
- Add additional features to Homepage (Post Categories, Calendar of Events, Personalized User Pages)
- Add Next set of features to the Homepage (Hub Pages, Charity Pages, Wallet System, etc)
- Continuous maintenance and addition of other features for better user experience
If you wish to contribute, head over to github and submit a pull request and upload your work directly to the repo itself.
The Github repo can be found Here
You can also read more about the overall plan for the project Here
Deadline
This is an ongoing project and I am constantly looking for help to make this page better. I would like sample submissions for this specific task request to be submitted starting 2 weeks from now on 28 April 12:00:00 (UTC) in order for us to start testing and working on additional features and functions.
Communication
You can contact me on discord or Steem.Chat at @cloh76 or @cloh76.witness to get more details about the task.
Through this series of Task Requests, I am hoping to find individuals and team members who I can bring on as staff to help grow and strengthen this community further. I have several projects and Ideas I am currently working on and need all the help I can get.

This is great sir cloh. I wish I have the time to contribute.
Take your time. It's always open for contributions!
I'll keep that in mind sir Cloh. Thanks.
Hi cloh, your task request has been approved. Could you add a license to the repository and put some information in the README about the project and how someone would get a local version installed and running? Thanks!
