Here I share a tutorial installation of karbon in Linux, I happened to use the Distro Linux Parrot 3.9, please follow step by step.

1. Installation Process

Open a Root Terminal and type
nano /etc/apt/source.list
This command is used to check/change/add the debian repository
Customize with the following repository
deb http://deb.parrotsec.org/parrot stable main contrib non-free
deb-src http://deb.parrotsec.org/parrot stable main contrib non-free

command this command once
apt-get update

now installation
apt-get install karbon

If the command appears to continue Y/n select then type Y

The installation process will take a little longer, because it's not just one kind of video editor, but more the application of vector editor installed. This the application of vector editor requires considerable disk space, which is approximately 150 MB, and if you use your internet speed is high, then the download process faster, and so on.
