Introduction
BitShares is an open-source, and also a blockchain-based real-time, It provides a built-in decentralized asset exchange for the Public. Despite the fact that steemit.com has made so many users associate themselves with bitshares presently that alone should make bitshares also do something concerning
my topic today.
Problem
BitShares has been online for some years now according to my research it was founded October 3 2013, Looks. pretty far compared to steemit right steemit was founded around March 2016 and currently they are doing fine in different countries because they didn't relent in their promotions and evangelism of the steemit.com website, Now talking about bitshares that have been around for that long their language option is limited when I logged in recently and checked I could see just about 10 languages that operates on the site which shouldn't be the world today has so many languages even one cannot identify some and i expect bitshares to be already following up with some of this Languages. Below is the screenshot of the only languages added to the bitshare portal.
There are only 9 languages added to the bitshare portal and research shows that we have about 6,909 languages in the a whole world and about 6% of this Languages have around 1 million speakers so this is to say the world Is really ahead, I am not suggesting they add all the languages which is impossible but there are still some major languages that can be added to the bitshare.
Suggestion
Addition of more languages would help the bitshares account grow without limitation, As just 9 languages presently won't be enough to promote the website in different countries, Luckily for the bitshares website steemit.com have been associated with it in some way as most steemians now make use of the bitshares site mainly to use whaleshares to boost their posts on steemit.com and now looking at steemit.com the esteem application have provided more languages for the platform increasing the promotion area, Now imagine someone using a different language in the esteem application and that language is the only language they can understand and they want to make use of the bitshares and could not find it there, It is not helping the website instead chasing users. Below is the picture of esteem application with so many languages if not so many but more than what we see in the bitshares website.
In conclusion
I cannot post all the languages that is currently in the esteem app as they are almost around 60 languages there compared to the 9 languages we have in the bitshares and so I implore the bitshares admins to do something about this issue, This is my little contribution and I hope it will be favorably considered.
