In simple words, this project brings value to the open source community because it facilitates the creation of all sort of applications using JavaScript, and provides a lot of help and versatility to developers, so much so that well-known companies like Netflix, Paypal, and Uber (among many others) use Node for their online services.
Since Node.js is very easy to learn and it provides a lot of benefits for developers, there is a huge community of people involved with it, which is one of the reasons why this project is available to be translated into several languages (in crowdin, one of the best translation platforms in the web, this project is available to be translated into 33 different languages, Spanish is the one corresponding to this contribution), the ultimate goal of translating Node.js is to make it easier for developers from any country to start learning about this project in their own native language.

Contribution Specifications
- Translation Overview
This is my 74# contribution to Node.js. The project is currently 72% translated for the Spanish language. Most of the content I translated for this contribution was instructions from Node.js’s changelogs about changes that were applied with the goal of fixing any type of issue or bug and to improve the software’s performance.
All of this information is easily available to the public because Node.js is open source, which means everything about its development is public knowledge and can be accessed for free by anyone. The global development community uses the GitHub platform to collaborate and join their efforts in making Node.js a better tool, and every time there is a text that needs to be translated to several languages, like the changelogs for example, then this information is uploaded to Crowdin.
Both of these platforms are great to collaborate with open source projects, GitHub is designed for development collaborations and all sort of technical things, and Crowdin is designed for translation collaborations. Given the fact the information is originally written by developers, it is first posted on the GitHub platform, and if a translation is needed, it is later uploaded to the Crowdin platform. This way, open source projects can be constantly improved and available for everyone regardless of the language they speak.

As the software and its code evolve, there are always changes that can be applied to improve the performance and efficiency.
