In simple words, this project brings value to the open source community because it facilitates the creation of all sort of applications using JavaScript, and provides a lot of help and versatility to developers, so much so that well-known companies like Netflix, Paypal, and Uber (among many others) use Node for their online services.
Since Node.js is very easy to learn and it provides a lot of benefits for developers, there is a huge community of people involved with it, which is one of the reasons why this project is available to be translated into several languages (in crowdin, one of the best translation platforms in the web, this project is available to be translated into 33 different languages, Spanish is the one corresponding to this contribution), the ultimate goal of translating Node.js is to make it easier for developers from any country to start learning about this project in their own native language.

Contribution Specifications
- Translation Overview
This is my 72# contribution to Node.js. The project is currently 71% translated for the Spanish language. This is a very large project because, for each new version that is released, all of the changes that were applied are included in the corresponding changelog, and these instructions are later on uploaded to Crowdin to facilitate the translations activities.
Given the fact Node.js is a very popular software with users and developers from all over the world, it is totally understandable for this software to be constantly updated and improved, besides, being an open source software its code is available for everyone to see, which makes the development community much larger than otherwise.
In order to facilitate the localization of all the information related to this software, translators can provide them with translations through the Crowdin platform, which is probably the best platform there is to handle the translations activities for projects of any chance.
When it comes to the development activities, those are handled through the GitHub platform, where developers can communicate and collaborate with each other in fixing bugs and making sure everything works perfectly.
The information I have been translating are the instructions, posted by the developers in the GitHub platforms and later on uploaded to Crowdin. These instructions are meant to improve the way Node.js works.

Descriptions should always be as clear as possible to avoid causing confusions to the readers. On this occasion, a developer realized the setup description could be improved, so he indicated the need to clear it up.

The test was using too much memory especially if multiple variants were running at the same time, and this could cause crashes due to a lack of sufficient memory. To solve this problem, a developer indicated that the test should be limited to only running one single variant and forbid multiple variants running simultaneously.

This new test was added because it allowed to check some information in the majority of normal tests in a more efficient way, instead of running several tests, developers would be able to just run one. Specifically, “These extra checks do a minimum check to make sure async_hooks operates normally under all other tests” Source
