Hello! I'm new too in logo making, I usually make a layout for a magazine.
It is a nice logo, but you must consider the proportion of your object in logo making. As I see, you are tracing your sketch, not making a new one by using ellipse, it's very rough artline for a logo.
This is my opinion, the decision is on moderators in Utopian. Keep learning and practicing! Cheers!
