I am sad of this news. But I admire you for how you responded. Yes, having these things come it with costs. And one way I can see for you to cover for them is with these posts or votes you get from the bot.
Honestly, you're doing the community a service for putting this up and you deserve (i'm not sure if that's the right word for it) to get at least get something from it.
