Delete the app from File Manager manually does not delete the file from the App and keep crashing when tap several times on the deleted file in the App

Expected behavior

If we record a voice and then delete it manually from storage it must delete the same file from the app or if it was not deleted then it shows the Message that File not found but in both cases it fails.

Actual behavior

I record a voice and then delete it by file manager then i return to the app and what i see the deleted file is present there i tap several time it and it crashes the app. The app does not sense that the file was deleted by the user.

How to reproduce

  • Open the Voice Recorder app and Record a voice.
  • Now minimize the app and delete the Recorded voice by File Manager and then go back to the App.
  • Check the Recorded voice list there you will find the deleted file there tap it many times ( at least 3 time) it and notice the result.
  • Voice recorder: Version 3.1
  • Operating system: Android Nougat 7.0
