Just like it were in your previous report, the steps you provided were easy to follow,but the actual and expected behaviors described are mixed up. Please try to place the correct description with the correct header in future contributions. I see the PO has promised to give the issue a thorough look to ascertain the cause of the bug.
I think clicking the widget takes you to the last saved note. In this case the widget tried to access the deleted note, hence the crash. A simple fix will be to reset or update the state of the widget with available notes whenever a deletion is made.
A logcat would have gone a long way in helping the PO figure where in the app the crash occurred. You should try including this in future reports.
