Unable to make comments, "no internet connection" is shown as an error message

Expected behavior

I expect to make comments on a post with no glitch, provided my data connection is turned on

Actual behavior

The screen loads, then returns an error message that reads "no internet connection". However this is not so, as i am able to refresh the home page for newer posts. But i cannot make comments.

How to reproduce

  • download the app from fdroid store
  • launch app and allow permissions if prompted
  • Turn on data connections
  • Login with your facebook details
  • Refresh the homepage
  • Attempt commenting on any of the posts and you will see the error message.

  • Device: TECNO-L8Plus

  • Operating system: Android 5.1

  • Application: SlimSocial

  • version: 3.7.1

      Hi @fego, this contribution was hidden reason because you reported similar problem in your previous contribution. You were expected to have at least reported them in one contribution as the error received is same.

      This same bug existed in the old version of the app which got fixed, but for some unknown reason, the bug is still their (which means its a known bug). The POs only need one message to tell them that the bug still exist.

      This was the first of the "no internet connection" error bugs i posted, the one that followed was not approved for the reason you listed, and at the time of posting i saw it as a different error cause the bug occured in a totally different part of the application.

      this contribution was hidden reason because you reported similar problem in your previous contribution.

      @knowledges Of all the contributions i made before this, none were " no internet connection" error related
