The open source accelerator Utopian.io has announced plenty of new features for their Steem-based platform. One of the news was a presentation of the entire redesign with detailed previews for all pages on the platform.
With the version 2 of the Utopian design we will get a modern look with plenty of details and enough "room to breath" to avoid a dense appearance. It looks very smooth and streamlined and will fit perfectly into the open source community. Right now it is still a little bit confusing but with the redesign it will be compatible for the masses.

This is nice, simple and much-needed on the platform... I just did a PR for the busy app, but the process to find the repo on Utopian after logging in isn't as simple as it should be (specifically for STEEM based projects)... Upvoted and Resteemed!
I'll try to contribute, but now I'm sunk with work... definitely have to see if I can check this out though, been meaning to for a loong time.

If Utopian doesn't want Video formats in blogs this should be made clear in the official rules. Right now it doesn't

Unfortunately @flauwy that is the case, clearly stated per the rule: "You must provide an original and a unique editorial content of very high quality that is strongly related to the promotion and development of open-source related projects. "
Editorial content is textual articles.
I understand. I had interpreted the editorial as video-inclusive since videos also require to be edited and prepared. But in that case just leave it on hidden.
