Ubuntu is an open source software. From the operating system to security updates, storage to software. Ubuntu is fast to load, easy to use, available in most languages and accessible to all.
Ubuntu applications are all free and open source — so you can share them with anyone you like, as often as you like. Ubuntu comes with full support and all kinds of services available worldwide.
As a Creative Designer i Thought It will be appropriate to create a more befeating logo to "UBUNTU" .

BENEFITS/IMPROVEMENTS
This ICON is simple & unique compared to the original logo. It is also clean & creative and represents the project name. Its a combination of different shapes of Rectangle to Create a transperent "U" within all shapes.

Colour
Original color looks great in style, so i maintain same colors so as to let a continuity of same unique color proccess as the original "ICON".

    Hi, we cannot approve your work. Your files are not publicly accessible and your selected repository does not belong to Ubuntu.

    I believe you should pick projects that are in need of designs and not create logos for that big projects that would most likely need tight cooperation if they decided to change the branding.

      I have been on the Utopian community for a while now and all I have gotten is my contribution being disapproved by one mod or the other. They lay complains of me not adhering to the Utopian rules which I did, they say I do not make my work source file open, they say I missed one or the other thing , now they are saying the project I work with is not an open source project and does not need contributions. To say the least, I'm really disappointed with the way I have been treated by this community.

        Our rules are there to ensure that a person can provide usable files for the project. About the chosen projects. Please think about it. Why do you not do a little research and find a project that is looking for a design and graphics assets?

        The reward is meant for people enhancing and cooperating with the projects. You may think it is unfair as your contribution has not been approved but work of someone else had. I believe that the proposed logo would not be simply used because of it is known worldwide and that they would prefer closer cooperation if they decide to change its identity.
