Promoting Steemgigs To Over (10k+) reach. Improved reachout and engagement.

Introduction

First of all, at most, everyone must have a heard a thing or two about steemgigs but one suprising thing is very little people and users know about steemgigs and the purpose it serves. Steemgigs has become one of the most trending busy-like platform on steemit based on the steem blockchain. Steemgigs as the name implies are gigs based on fiverr. Fiverr being an online market place offers you an arena where you can get freelance services. These services are basically listed according on the type of niche a freelancer posseses. The freelancer offer services which are called gig for other users to buy. I choose to promote this open source project using facebook.

Reason for Carrying Out Promotion

As I stated in my introduction earlier, very few users lack the full scope of what steemgigs is all about. 1 out of 60 users can be used to describe the ratio of people who understand steemgigs for what it is rather than just knowing the name itself. This prompted me to promote Steemgigs.

Permission Granted Upon request to perform Promotion.

Before I could carry out my promotion, I had to request permission from the project owner via github which was granted and my effort was very much appreciated. Here's an image to show approval of promotion from project owner/admin.

Audience

I narrowed down my audience to one specific country with no particular age limits. The targetted audience was Nigeria with some additional interests of blogging and social-media platforms... Smt's and cryptocurrency interests could not be included as per the facebook restrictions currently. Nevertheless the post was done and the promotion was carried out to meet the desired audience.

Activity

This is an improvement in promoting steemgigs in which a promotion had been carried out few weeks ago with no better reachout and engagement done last time so i decided to make a new post which clearly supersedes the first promotion. The second promotion was carried out using my facebook page Steemit On The Go to create the post and boost it using a promotional ad which I paid for. The post about steemgigs contained essential details about steemgigs and also a link provided on the post for users to easily log in through the post I created.

Results

Clearly the results of the promotion was better than the first promotion. The promotion made about 10,100+ users on facebook with some engagements, comments, photo clicks, likes and post clicks. Here are some images to display results of promotion carried out.

This shows an improvement in terms of people reached and the capacity and also more importantly. Taking the scope of the audience in this second promotion was narrowed down to a specific country and a targetted audience plus it had 91 more engagement than the previous promotion and it had comments from interested users which are shown in the image below.

Proof Of Work

I own a facebook page Steemit On the Go which I use in carrying out publicity on open source projects such as this project. My facebook page username is (Gutzygwin) which is also used as a display for the page's logo/design-label. This username is also the same as my steemit username and also my facebook account display name is Godwin Isong which is the same as my steemit Display name.
