The two most valuable open source programs nowadays are KMyMoney and GnuCash. In comparison, some features are not tested, such as budgeting or GnuCash business features, as they are not available at KMyMoney. Internet banking facility was not tested because there is no financial institution in the country that supports it.
K-MYMONEY

KMyMoney has advantages in more complete support for internet banking, although unfortunately this can not be used in Indonesia. Have investment-related features (monitor stock prices and transactions, record dividends, etc.) though not all readers may need them.
KMyMoney import and export facilities are better, for example, can import from GnuCash and import / export in standard QIF / OFX format (which is widely used by other programs and banks). - File storage:

Gnu cash has no advantages in complete support of the internet. GnuCash itself can import from QIF / OFX, but currently can not export it. You can only export a list of accounts (not transactions) in XML format. So you need to consider if you want to be able to move around the program and bring your data. Although from personal experience, importing from other programs (including using the standard QIF / OFX format) is less than satisfactory to me, due to differences in category structure, etc.sometimes if our transaction data is not too much, maybe better if we start from the beginning or re-enter it. - File storage :
Gnu cash is not supported by password protection

GnuCash excels in budgeting and features for small businesses (can record customers, suppliers, and take care of payroll and employee expenses). In addition, reporting on GnuCash is also more complete and supports charts. - Forms user interface:
More simple and "no different" interfaces. In the entry the transaction is more similar to the one in the spreadsheet. Because there is no need to fill in the Pay To field, and there is a Quick-Fill facility to auto-fill transaction details similar to the last one that ever existed, it can enter the transaction faster.
GnuCash has tabs, we can open registers more than one account at a time.
