Yesterday I shared my one of the utopian posts with friends on my facebook wall(actual link of utopian).Then after few minutes one of my friends commented saying the post link I shared didn't open the actual post but it redirects to the website landing page.
I was confused about the issue because I never tried opening my utopian posts without logging in.
Then I tried to view my utopian posts without logging in to my utopian account then I found that he was right. It has been long since I was using utopian but I have never noticed this thing.
First I thought it was a bug but then I realized it might not be any bug, but it's how the website work.
I have recorded a small clip so that you can understand the issue I am pointing out here.
As you can see, I can't view/read any utopian posts if I am not logged in to my utopian profile. I tried it on a couple of browsers just to make sure it wasn't a browser error.
Problem and suggestion:
As I have already told above how did I found out about this issue, you can simply imagine the disadvantage of this issue. Users/ or visitors from outside steemit community aren't being able to read any utopian post.Which means we are simply not getting that much attention from outside world.
From what I've learned, utopian is not just for steemit community, but in fact, it's trying to bring more people to the steemit community through open source contribution and most of the contributions are synched with GitHub.All content should be easily accessible for everyone, even those who do not know anything about steem. This can be beneficial in many ways like visibility, ranking and branding etc.
And in my opinion, this is a must apply suggestion for utopian,
