Bug on Onix: Music Playlist fails to refresh after new songs has been added on mobile device

Expected behavior

Onix is an open source andriod app used for playing audio and music. It's basically a mucic player with cool added features like enhanced bass boost and enhanced surrounding function. As expected while using the onix music player, the app is expected to refresh new songs as they are added on the mobile device.

Actual behavior

Upon addition of new songs to the mobile device, the onix music player fails to refresh feed an leaves the playlist emplty as illustrated in the edited image below. This bug causes new songs on mobile device to be left invisible in the app and inaccessible by the app.

How to reproduce

  • Download the Onix Music player from google playstore.
  • open application and load all music files present on the device.
  • exit onix music player and add new songs via Bluetooth or hotspot ir download online.
  • Go back on Onix player and refresh playlist.
  • New songs fails to add to playlist

  • Browser: Google Playstore/Onix Music player.
  • Operating system: Android 7.0 . Infinix Note 4
