Remove button for widgets is unstable

Expected behavior

I expected I'll be able to remove widgets by pressing and holding it to access the options.

Actual behavior

The remove button is only visible when the widget is held and slightly moved, and it disappears if the movement is rapid.

How to reproduce

  • download the app from fdroid
  • launch the app and allow all permissions if prompted.
  • on the launcher desktop screen, press and hold and empty space to reveal options.
  • select widget and add a widget.
  • on the desktop screen press and hold the widget to remove it and nothing happens.
  • try to move the widget and the option pops up but a rapid movement makes it disappear.
  • Device: Tecno Camon CM
  • Operating system: Android 7.0
  • Software Version: 0.5.12

    • some widgets can not be removed as the Po is trying to fix it
    • the popup just shows in the static long press on the widget
