Proposal
I am aware that Whatsapp backup chat history on phone internal memory, sdcard and on Google drive cloud.
I want to suggest that all chat history on whatsapp, be automatically saved and backup on Google drive cloud only and still make data accessible on phone device without having them saved on phone internal memory or sd card.
Or better still, whatsapp users should be given an option to select and decide, if they what data saved on phone internal memory, sdcard or cloud. I suggest this options to be configured into Whatsapp application and made available during whatsapp installation process.
Observation
WhatsApp data saved on phone internal memory and sdcard sometimes crash all application installed on my itel 1701 iNote android phone.
I have experienced this apps failure on my phone on two occasions. Where all apps were disabled and stopped working. I took the phone to Carlcare customer care office, where the phone operating system was reloaded.
Many users are not aware that overload of Whatsapp chat history on phone internal memory and sdcard can disable all apps on the phones.
I discovered that, all apps installed on my itel 1701 iNote android phone, stopped working due to overload of Whatsapp chat history stored on my phone internal memory and sdcard.
The consequence of the overload of whatsapp chat history on my itel 1701 iNote android phone was that. I first experienced all phone applications hanging and not working properly. And latter they all stopped working completely.

Benefits
If this suggestion is implemented on whatsapp application, there will be enough memory space on either phone internal memory or sdcard for all installed apps to function and run smoothly, without hanging or breaking down completely.
And all the error messages displayed and shown on the screen shots above will be avoided.
